Metabolic Health Solutions Privacy Policy

Metabolic Health Solutions (MHS) provides the METS_iQ digital health platform and associated ECAL hardware modules. We support clinical practitioners and allied health professionals with decision support tools and secure patient data storage. MHS also runs clinical services directly in Perth Australia. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs), and relevant state and territory health records laws.
This privacy policy considers three data groups;
- Practitioners - Practitioners are health professionals who who use the METS_iQ digital health platform
- Patients - Patients refers to patients of independent practitioners and whilst patients are not direct customers of MHS, their information is held on METS_iQ. We require practitioners to inform patients that their data will be stored on our systems
- MHS Clinic Patients - This group refers specifically to patients seen by MHS practitioners operating in Perth Western Australia, under the direct management of Metabolic Health Solutions
